Alternative Primatial Oversight: Remaking Anglican Ecclesiology?

One of the interesting aspects of the "TEC" dioceses pursuing this relationship with the Archbishop of Canterbury is that it would make those dioceses similar to Roman Catholic dioceses in the sense that RC dioceses answer directly to Rome. It is still not the same thing, obviously, but kind of tilts in that direction. Desperate times call for desperate measures, I suppose.

What will cantaur do? Personally, I see him as part of the problem, and have no idea why anyone would want to be under him. He is clearly a brilliant theologian, but he doesn't strike me as being a very good and decisive leader. Nonetheless, I offer my prayers for TEC, and especially those conservative dioceses and churches within that fold.
